Beaulieu Motor Museum playground is much the same as any other playground in many respects – but themed in an ingenious manner. The centrepiece is the excellent vintage bus slide; a miniature of the Edwardian boneshaker that rattles around the museum grounds. There’s also a vintage garage with two cars, each with two steering wheels to avoid fighting. A height limit is imposed here; one that favours the short rather than the tall. It’s always our first port of call when we come to the National motor Museum.
