• Distance: Variable.
• Parking: Free Forestry Commission parking is available at Deerleap Car Park.
• Defining Features: A mixture of rutted tracks and gravel, across woodland and open heath.
• Pros: Lovely sweeping views over the heath and very nice, grassy picnic areas.
• Cons: Although you get a great sense of space, I was left wishing for greater distances.
